That's why I was so excited to be able to have the opportunity to review the Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers. It's as easy as 1.2.3. Simply purchase the Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamer variety of your choice, bring it home. pop it in the microwave, and in about 8 minutes, you have steamy fresh vegetables with delicious sauce as a perfect side to your dinner. Here's the kind of Valley Fresh Steamer bag that I picked out:
My entire family loved them, including the picky 2 year old (well, he wasn't quite a fan of the cauliflower, but that wasn't because of Green Giant... that was because he's 2 and he's picky! Connor LOVED the cauliflower)!
I would totally buy these veggies again. In fact, I'm thinking these may be the new veggies I bring with me when I make meals for people who just had a baby. That way it's fresh cooked when they eat, and they don't have to reheat anything! PERFECT!
The Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers come in a TON (and I mean a TON) of varieties, including some that even have pasta in them as well, so you're sure to find something that will be a hit with any appetite you have in your home.

Sounds like a great way to get kids (and their parents!) to eat their veggies.
ReplyDeleteI love dipping veggies in dressing or pureeing them and adding them to breads/muffins so my family will eat them. Yum!
I like to purée cauliflower to make it like mashed potatoes, or add cheese or dip in plain yogurt mixed with a ranch dip packet. It tastes just like ranch!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a problem -my kids love vegetables

I let my son dip his veggies in ketchup or ranch dressing to get him to eat them.

Thankfully I don't have a problem with getting my family to eat vegetables right now. Hopefully, Zoe will continue in her Dad's footsteps and eat just about anything I place in front of her :) Only time will tell...
